Miss Smiley

I love how happy Brielle is! The first little bit of her life she was not this way because of her tummy problems but since about 8 weeks she started changing and has just been a happy baby all around!
Brielle is 7 months old now CRAZY! Some things about our little 7 month old:
-She loves sitting up like a big girl
-She loves to watch baby einstein
-She says "BA, Ba, Ba, ba"
-She loves to continuosly blow raspberries
-Has become quite the mommy's girl
-Loves when daddy comes home
-Giggles everytime she touches Pa Pa's whiskers
-ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with SAVVY (my parents dog)
-Brielle really loves taking walks
-Brielle is OUR LIFE!

Anyway on to what you really want: PICTURES!

WHY ARE BABIES RIGHT OUT OF THE BATH JUST SO IRRESISTIBLE?

PLUMBER BUM ANYONE?

BIG BLUE EYES

Brielle just has her own smile..its called "the wide open mouth smile" I FREAKIN ADORE IT, its like she smiles with her whole face instead of just her lips! Scrunches her nose even! This is what Brielle is like 90% of the day!

I LOVE LOVE this picture of Brielle. SHe looks like such a big girl! She loves playing in her jumper!

This picture is so funny, she is totally CHEESIN' it

ONCE AGAIN, the typical Brielle smile

OUTSIDE DAY FOR BRIELLE!

A few weeks back we were lucky to get a day of almost 70 degrees. Nolan had the day off and so we made a family trip to the park. We have a park really close to our house and Brielle didn't quite know what to think! (let me preface by saying NOLAN picked out and bought Brielle's green romper, we love rompers!)

Going down the slide with mommy

Discovering her cute chubby legs

First time down the slide!

A Word From The Man of The House

So not to overshadow the real purpose of this blog.....to brag about Brielle (the cutest daughter a father could ask for). I have some news to share. For the last few years I have struggled to watch my weight and maintain a physical fitness level that I not only expect but am proud of. I have gained about 30 pounds since leaving for Iraq in 2006 (20 of which has been gained since returning). In an effort to account for my actions, motivate and probably humiliate myself I have created a blog to journal my journey. http://www.operationbodmod.blogspot.com/ Please feel free to follow my blog leaving comments, advice and encouragement. Now back to what this blog is really for..... Brielle!

Silly Fun

Our little B Bug is growing up so fast and she is quite the little character! She has the cutest personality and makes me laugh everyday! A little while ago we decided to do fingerpainting and footprints. We wanted to make a picture that daddy could take and hang in his office. She didn't know quite what to think about it, but went to town grabbing the paper. IT was so cute and we even tried out giving mommy some Brielle feet tatoos!

SHe must be thinking something like: wow, my parents are crazy dipping my feet in this goo!

ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS BRIELLE DOES:

This is her way of blowing raspberries. She takes a BIG breath blows up her cheeks then SLOWLY lets it out until all her air is gone..takes another big breath and does it all over, and drools like crazy while showing off her trick! CRACKS US UP!! She is darling!

A LITTLE UPDATE:

WE are doing good here in the Poulson house. We are trying to work on our yard that desperately needs some attention. No body lived in our house for almost a year when we bought it so the weeds kind of overtook the flower beds. BUT it is so fun because everyday I see some new flowers pop up! We have tulips that are bringing a little bit of sunshine in these rainy days!

Its so fun and exciting to have your own home and I feel like a true grown up going out to weed my OWN yard and actually kind of enjoying it. Another thing about owning your own home, is all the things you need..LIKE A LAWN MOWER, rake, hose, shovel, edger, ladder ect. Ugh! So we are slowly buying all that stuff to make our house look good on the inside and the outside. We feel so blessed to be able to have a home of our own, and feel blessed that Nolan has a good job that allows us to do so.

Nolan is way busy with work as always. But tries really hard to divide his time between all his duties! I am enjoying watching him as a daddy! Brielle LOVES him, and her face lights up when he walks in the door. He is really good at our nightly routine and helps out a lot with her. She really enjoys when he plays with her during bath time! Nolan gets her to giggle and it melts my heart .

I have been doing the mommy thing. We are getting to be good friends with people in our ward and we get together to play and go shopping with friends who have babies close to Brielle's age. I have been getting into a work out routine that is fun and have a couple of friends that do it with me and my sister Ali works out with me a couple time a week, I don't LOVE working out yet but I hope I can get to the point where I actually look forward to it (does that ever happen?) Although I tried Zumba for the first time a while ago and really enjoyed it! So I got a punch pass to the class and go with some friends, it is a fun hour work out that goes by fast! I come home feeling a little uncoordinated but all in all its been fun. I recieved a calling in our new ward, teaching relief society!! Wow, I have taught one time and have another lesson next week. Preparing is hard for me because I want it to be perfect and finding quiet time during the day is hard but I actually love getting up to teach. I know it is going to teach me a lot and I am excited to continue to learn more.

NOT GOOD FOR JOGGING!

By jp from SLC, Utah on 4/13/2011

2out of 5

Pros: Easy To Setup, Smooth Ride

Cons: Wobbly Wheel

Best Uses: Walking only

Describe Yourself: Parent of Multiples (Twins etc)

Loved the color, loved the smooth ride and easy to push WHEN WALKING. I already have a travel system and wanted this one to jog with. HOwever when you jog even with the wheel locked the front wheel wobbles BAD! We read the instructions and it said to tighten the bolt when that happens so we did as the instructions says, did nothing!!! We talked to babies r us and they said baby trends are known to wobble because they are more for walking...WHY IS IT CALLED A JOGGER then? WE called baby trend too, because I liked it and wanted it to work for us. THe guy told me over time the bolt can get crushed and that's why I was having the wobble problem, I told him that it was brand new and happend the first time I ran with it, he then told me he could send me a repair kit to fix it, REALLY? DUDE it's brand new!!! NOT happy with it for a jogger!! You can't jog with it. I Read other reviews on baby trend and lots of people said the same thing! I am so dissapointed and taking it back.
