CHRISTMAS WITH THE PAYNES

We spent Christmas and Christmas Eve with my family. We had so much fun doing all the fun traditions we did as kids! These traditions are what make Christmas for me! Sharing them with Nolan and seeing his excitement make it even better! We had a wonderful Christmas and definitely got spoiled! We are a little goofy and crazy on Christmas, its a big deal in the Payne house!

We went down to Salina the weekend before Christmas to visit Nolan's family. We had so much fun! We went shooting, and played with our ONLY niece and nephew, his mom prepared a beautiful Christmas dinner of prime rib! His parents gave us food storage for Christmas and we love it! Takes a lot of pressure off us and they did all the preparing for us thanks for helping us follow the prophet mom and dad! Thanks Poulson's for a wonderful Christmas Celebration!

I am 1 year old today!

Is he not the cutest thing? I really wish I could claim his as my own, I love him like my own, but this is the baby I nanny for! He is 1 year old today! Let's just say I am just a "LITTLE" attatched. This last week they went to Mexico and I missed this little guy SO MUCH! Nolan will tell you how many times I said "I miss Will!" I came back today so excited, I woke up earlier than usual just because I was so excited to see him! It has been such a pleasure to watch him grow, even though I have no idea what it is like to be a parent I have gotten just a little taste of what it might be like. I wonder sometimes..If i love Will this much I can't even imagine what it is like to have your own. When I first started watching will he couldn't even roll over! And now he is walking and talking! Happy Birthday little man! Thanks Tiffany and Phil for giving me the pleasure of taking care of your little angel I love him so much!

Holiday Times bring Holiday Fun!

We have done some fun Holiday activities so far this season! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!! My parents have made every Christmas a memory. We have a ton of family Christmas traditions and it truly makes every Christmas something to look forward to! It has been fun to now include Nolan in these traditions he is almost as fun as watching a little kid at Christmas and to think he used to make fun of me for a few of them :) I have been wanting to put up my Christmas decorations since a week before Thanksgiving and Nolan has some very strong feelings about celebrating another Holiday until the previous one has been celebrated! So the day after Thanksgiving I jumped up and down on the bed saying: "wake up wake up do you know what day it is? It's Christmas decorating day!! YAY!!" He was such a good sport to be excited and help me! We have also gone to temple square with our friends Caden and Megan, and Tyrell and Kylee! It was a blast! Then we got invited to an ugly sweater Christmas Party at our friends Brandon and Kristens it was hilarious and Nolan won FIRST PLACE for the ugliest sweater..You will see just how ugly it was!!

Do we have a look alike?

Zach Efron? Zach? you gotta be kiddin! A couple of my cousins have teased Nolan to the death about his look alike. They said "we were watching Hairspray and we kept thinking Link looks like someone..NOLAN he looks like Nolan!" Nolan hates the idea of looking like the 13 year old girls' celebrity crush, and maybe it's the fact that Zach isn't as manly as he is portrayed in hairspray (a little feminine for the male breed) It is quite funny how Nolan reacts to their look alike comments! They say it's only Zach in hairspray..not High School Musical! I just don't see it, but what do you think?
