Happy New Year!
2010-
You were a great year. Both hard and amazing! Definitely have to say one of the best years of my life due to the fact that our first child entered the world on September 26. The best experience of my life.
2010 has brought many new experiences that real GROWN UPS do. The house buying process was something that was crazy!! Learned a lot, cried a little, got excited a lot! It was so fun and we are so excited to be in our house! We worked hard and learned about how much things cost when owning a home. Its crazy how as a kid you never appreciate or understand the price of things like carpet, paint, light fixtures, tools, appliances ect.
We became parents and have learned about the sacrifices, responsibilities, and mostly the LOVE parents have for their children. It is amazing. We are so grateful for this little girl.
Nolan has achieved a lot more schooling this year and is well on his way to his degree. He has grown A LOT in his job, and has achieved a lot at work. SO PROUD!
We were so blessed that NOlan made the decision to switch units in the Army. Right after he did his old unit got orders to be deployed to Afghanistan. If he would have been deployed, it would have been days after Brielle was born. It was such a tender mercy in our lives.
I have taught Young Womens this year and absolutely loved it. It has been my favorite calling so far. I loved the girls, and loved loved teaching the lessons. I went through a whole pregnancy and absolutely enjoyed it. I have spent time bonding and enjoying my daughter and all the fun things she does. I have met new friends, said good bye to a best friend who moved across the country, and mended an old friendship. One of the hardest things I did, was leave my job. I miss the boys so much and I try hard to keep in touch with them and I still see them quite a bit. But it was hard and I still think about them every day!
THankYou for being good to us 2010!
NOW FOR 2011:
I only made 2 new years resolutions this year. I have a zillion goals I want to work on but I decided to keep it simple and work on just 2.
FIRST, with everyone else in the world. Lose weight, and be healthy. I have started working out 3-4 times a week and I am watching my diet. NOT DIETING, but just living a healthier lifestlye when it comes to food. I am very motivated to do this. I have wanted to lose weight since I was in highschool and I am sick of not achieving my goals so I AM DOING THIS!
SECOND: My spirituality. Just working on it and strengthening it. Doing the things that I need to.
2011 will be full of changes for Brielle. It makes me sad that she grows so fast, but I enjoy watching her learn, and enter each new stage.
Bring it 2011!!

Blessing Day
Brielle recieved a name and a blessing by her daddy on December 12, 2010. Nolan did a fantastic job, he was so sweet preparing and took it to heart. We were so worried that she would be fussy during her blessing but she was absolutely perfect the whole day! We said a little prayer before church and it was definitely answered! Our little family.

Life in Brielle's world
Our sweet girl Brielle is 2 months old! I can't believe it! I can't imagine life with out her! She is really starting to show us personality and it is so fun to watch her change every day! I love this picture of her cuddling with Nolan. He is so sweet with her. She had her two month check up last weekend and got her shots! It was so sad, Nolan took her and I stayed home, I just didn't have the heart. He said that she did really well, and only screamed for 30 seconds until she got her bottle. She weighed 10 lbs 14 oz that is the 52 percentile, and we love her little chubby legs she is starting to get!

Mr. Handsome and Little B-bug
Nolan's brother Trevor got married last weekend. He married Shelbie, and we are so excited to have her in our family! The wedding was beautiful! Nolan was a groomsmen and looked so handsome! (I don't know why blogger loaded these pics blurry!) I think he is so hot in a tux! Especially holding our little B-bug!
Also that weekend we were able to stay with our friends Caden and Megan. Nolan's best friend growing up, and he and Caden were born 3 or 4 days apart (I can't remember). So when Megan and I were pregnant together we were so excited to find out we were both having girls, and they are 2 days apart!! They are bound to be best friends!!!

A little update on our Sweet Girl
*First a little WORD FROM ME*
So you have all thought that our blog was going private right? Yea me too..
WELL, it is going to be private, when I have the time to sit down and type in 80+ email adresses, its just not a high priority on my list of things to do. DON'T JUDGE ME please. I am not as put together as I once was. Sometimes its a miracle if I get a shower or get out of my lounge clothes.
NOW FOR THE MIRACLE This little girl slept from 11:30 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. last night!!! Seriously a miracle! I think she was utterly exhausted. She was up from about 5:30 p.m. till 3:00 a.m. the previous night and then didn't sleep much during the day yesterday, then it happend she slept through the night!
The poor little girl has some tummy issues that we just don't know how to fix, she cries after every feeding and fusses almost all day long. Colic? Maybe, reflux? Maybe, Allergy? Maybe Gas? Maybe We have tried it all and we just don't know.
Her Doctor has tried Reflux medication (Prevacid) after a week we didn't notice a difference. We tried switching to Soy formula didn't notice a difference. Tried a Hypo-allergenic formula that is $22 for a SMALL can!!! We still have her on that and we haven't noticed much of a difference either. Took her back to the Doc and he prescribed her an antibiotic (side effect of it is that you have less stomach acid) did nothing! TOok her back again ( I am not giving up) Prescribed her another medicine that aids in moving things through the stomach and intestines, we are now on day 4 of that, and I am not being faithful with it because usually when I give it to her she throws up within 20 seconds of giving it to her! Not seeing a difference with it either. *sigh* I just don't know what to do!
The last 7 weeks have been tough, I feel so bad for my baby. I know her tummy hurts and I don't know how to fix it. I feel like if we just call it "colic" that we are just coping out! I know its not her just being unhappy, i truely believe by the way she acts that she is in pain. I feel since I am her mom, I have to keep trying. She has no choice, and cannot advocate for herself and so it is my responsibility to be her voice. But at the same time, there are only so many things I can do. I feel like I am almost to the end of any possibility to a quick fix and I am afraid I will have to wait it out, therefore she will be in pain everytime she eats which is so UNFAIR!
The fussiness is HARD! It gets frustrating and I feel so helpless a lot of the time. I feel like a bad mom, and get down when I see other moms and their "perfect" happy babies, and it seems as though they have it all together all the time.
Heck, most days I look like I just woke up. My house looks like either I am packing, or unpacking you just can't tell which, and I have had my house for almost two months now! I wear make up maybe two times a week, I have a tear stained face a lot of the time, and I feel like I need to wear a sign around my neck that says "please don't judge me, I have a baby that needs me almost every second of the day"!
Despite the difficulty, I LOVE her, she is my daughter and such a blessing in our lives. She is beautiful! Even though she is unhappy a lot of the time, she tries so hard to be happy! In between cries she smiles when I talk to her, and her smiles melt my heart!! She actully smiles a lot! Especially in the morning! She is my sweetheart, and my little buddy. We spend lots of time walking around our house, bouncing, talking, rocking and singing together. I hope that she will feel better soon, and that we can find something that will work for her. I hate to see her in pain, and being a parent has made me realize just how much love you can have for a child. I love you Brielle, just know that I am trying my best.
